When the water interacts with the surface of travertine, liquid gets drained by those holes and surface keeps it’s holding ability, in other words, it does not become slippery. On the other hand, marble does not consist those little holes and can become very slippery. This is a very important problem that people faced on the marble areas which gets wet often.
